The Well Read Bookstore. Hawthorne. 5/19.  2pm

Bogart's Books & Music. Millville. 8/16.  7pm
A really good signing/demo at a really good cafe yesterday.  Thanks to the Fine staff of the Fine Grind Coffee Bar Cafe for setting things up and holding things down. It never hurts when they find a space for leftover copies (about eight, signed, if course). I look forward to working with them again and to my next sip of "Snuggle" Don't know? Stop by. Find out.thefinegrindcoffeebar.com
I have four events at this time, two confirmed, two in the bag.  Confirmed means,  well, in stone.  In the bag?  That means in stone.  The business owner just doesn't know it yet.  Telling myself it's in the bag gets me to confirmed.  Telling myself it's tentative gets me nowhere.

New! Events calendar below

A few fantabulous things in the works:

-possible blurb/feature in my undergrad alma mater's alumni magazine (I'd hardly call it a newsletter -- it's so glossy!)
-possible appearance at another coffee house on main strip in artistic/cultural hotbed
-possible booth at NYC convention, where publishers, editors, buyers and recently added...the general public -- will be!
-greater reach via availability on amazon.com as of today, to my knowledge

These may only be leads  but,  the saying doesn't go, "Anything's definite." Possible?  I already have proof of that.
Find it at amazon!
'Stopped by a great  place today.  The owner even set-aside  my daughter's headband, which she  left behind.
Two more events and two consignment contracts almost lined up,  "Stop" is top five in children's books at lulu, and it's sort of up at amazon -- site  says, "out of  print" but it's there.  I'm just going to follow what some pediatricians say:  give it three weeks, then worry.
Today was productive.  Wait. No, today was rewarding. Every day since January has been productive. That's why I'm tired! And I have no bedtime! Or  lunchtime! Or ANY time!

I heard from a bookstore for a signing (and stocking!) -- a bookstore! Do you know what they sell!  Some press has gotten back about running some stuff.  I'm news! I also dropped off copies of Stop to my May cafe' venue -- they want to put them out at an event for another author tomorrow. Genious!

Speaking of, I can't look at anything -- anything without thinking of how it applies to marketing this baby of mine.  I saw a flyer for a clown and I thought, "I gotta' do birthday parties." Then another voice said, "You barely have time, let alone, remember to get your kids to their friends' birthday parties." At least the wheels are spinning. I hope they're wheels. I feel something spinning.

'Something you've been wanting to do? Get  crackin'.
